For the hold booking using a joker - can it literally be any flight, and just call to change dates and locations - or does it need to be the locations you want, just playing about with dates?
Any date and location, but the pax cannot be changed once it's booked (or added to, etc.).
For gifting cards...to get two to gold...
Priority - Wife - 8th April collection, 31st May 2024 card expiry. Currently Gold on own collection, dropping down to silver. Doent have any solo flights in next couple of moths - when is best to gift Gold?
Friend - 8th July Collection, 31st August 2024 card expiry. Currently Bronze, on track for bronze - Best time to gift gold (assuming wife is done between getting GGL, and qualifying for GGL in probably December 2024)

Gifting cards is best done the day after their card expiry. So in the case of your wife, gifting the status on the 1st June 2024 would see her status valid until April 30th 2026 (previously this would have been 31st May 2026 but the new collection year changes this).
