I booked a hotel on C1 travel portal to use up the $300 travel credit. On the portal, the hotel I booked says "Free Breakfast". However, when I got to the hotel, I was told the rate that I had booked was "Room Only". The gentleman even turned his monitor around to show me that was what on his screen.

I checked on Expedia and I could see that for the property I was staying at, breakfast does indeed cost extra.

It was a quick overnight stay for me before I head out to the airport, so in this case, no big deal, I didn't really have time to have breakfast at the hotel before I head out anyway. But for those of you who are counting on the free breakfast C1 portal shows, beware.
