I think that you're missing the point (no pun intended). The missing points might show up later this month. But right now you have a reason to call and inquire about them, which might get you some customer-appreciation points for the inconvenience. If you wait a month and the points show up, you have no reason to call. And if you have not been offered a retention bonus . . . .
