Naturally karma bit and my parents on a flight from AKL to WLG found themselves diverted to PMR with the rest of the journey being completed via bus. Dad wrote a letter along the lines that 2 hours on a bus at flight level zero was not consistent with their advertising campaign and was rewarded punished with a trip for two to anywhere in the Air NZ network. So they had a weekend in Invercargill.
