IHG has appointed Mr. Jerome Palacoeur as the new general manager of the InterContinental Osaka, effective today, 10 May 2024.

Originally from Normandy, France, he has been with IHG for 25 years, working as Cluster Head Concierge at the InterContinental Resorts in Bora Bora, French Polynesia, before moving to Japan as Director of Guest Experience at the ANA InterContinental Tokyo. After seven years as Director of Rooms and Guest Experience at the InterContinental Osaka, where he was instrumental in delivering guest-focused service from the opening phase, he led the successful re-launch of the brand in Japan as General Manager of the Holiday Inn Express Osaka City Centre Midosuji.

His kind and friendly personality has won him the support of many guests and staff alike (some of you FlyerTalkers may know him well!) and we can look forward to the continued development of InterContinental Osaka.
