I sympathise! Something similar happened to me in Qatar, a country i'm in and out of frequently. My last entry was mangled and my subsequent departure required patient negotiation and intervention from higher authorities .... as the clock ticked closed to take-off time. I suppose these things happen - human mistakes or malign technology.
