The E-gates are a great improvement to the entry and exit processes AND leave your passport completely unstamped. If your nationality/passport allow E-visa use, it makes up for any hassle involved in online applications.
Unfortunately, their system is a nightmare for me. E-gate has been failing since my second departure. According to their explanation, a system error opened the gate before it recognised my face.
Since then, I have to go to the Immigration every time. And I still can't buy EVOA... According to their explanation, I'm still in Indonesia. It's a nightmare
