Flying back home from Australia in business class via AA. I noticed Qantas/ AA has multiple flights from AUS to USA on an A380 and would give me a maybe once in a lifetime flight on the Double Decker plane. I finished out last year as EXP with just over 500k loyalty points. Domestically i'm used to the upgrades to first clearing on most my routes.
Will my AA status get me an comp upgrade on a QF flight? Is it even possible to go from business to first via complementary upgrade? The experience I seen on a few video reviews of the first cabin and i'm very interested in the experience.
