Looking at long weekend of 21/6 back 25/6 but can be flexible on dates.
Taking advantage of the QR prices ex OSL to DXB/AHU so can position for £1090 (140 + 60 TPs each way).
The AHU-CGK flights are coming in at £1040 on the A320/321 fleet. I enjoyed the run last time but interested in trying the widebody option, if possible. Also, I found AHU a bit inflexible; had to wait landside for check-in to open to get a paper boarding pass and had a 8h layover on return leg and while I breezed through transit, the lounge was unhappy with entrance over 3h (ended up using Amex/priority pass the boarding card). Wondered if DXB may be a better option given mix of lounges etc. So, in combination, is it worth the extra £500?
QR offering £1.6 to CGK from DXB and is definitely a better product but then only 200 TPs, not 280...
But if anyone has another suggestion for the price (either out of DXB/AHU or all in) I'd be interested. Want to retain GGL and only 900 short (end Oct) so looking for a fun way to put a good chunk of TPs in on a single run that is vaguely pleasant!
Thanks.
It's your decision, but if you ask me, I'd say I'd never do it...
For £1500, there are a lot of fun routes to take, whether you're heading west or to Asia.
