SFO-YVR snack only in F

Ugh...didn't see this thread so yesterday when I was on AS 685 from SFO-YVR in first, I was unprepared to receive only chips and hummus. I have taken this flight several times per year since 2001 and it has always had at least a salad, usually a choice of salad or cold sandwich. The lady next to me (who "always takes this flight") was also caught off guard.

I'm sure 688 on the way back Monday will be the same.

One thought occurred to me...now I have to spend part of my airport time dealing with food. This cuts into the time I can spend in the Board Room, WHICH I PAY EXTRA to use. I may not renew since I will have at least 15 minutes less per trip to relax there. Sigh.

Charge me $10 to upgrade but give me enough food so I don't have to rush into town, drop my bags and go out to eat.
