Really disappointed - I came back from dinner and found that while someone came in to deliver towels, the last chocolate from my welcome gift was missing. I know I didn’t eat it, and the packaging shell was left exactly where I put it. It was pretty obvious the front desk staff thought I was forgetful or lying to try to get more chocolate. It’s about the principle of someone coming in and stealing my belongings, no matter how inconsequential. It’s enough for me to never return - shame on them.
I am still mad about the chocolate, but here is a more useful review:
Pros:
- Bed is comfortable - just-right medium-plush mattress, plush pillows, decently plush covers - slept well here
- Shower pressure is decent - not too weak
- Chromecast present on TV
- 4 PM late checkout offered proactively
- The chocolate (that wasn’t stolen) from the welcome gift was tasty
- Breakfast was tasty - enjoyed the croissants and omelets, pancakes one day, french toast the other
Neutral:
- They tried to upgrade me to a suite, but upon arrival at 8 AM, they didn’t have one ready (not surprising) - the associate didn’t really know what to do, I had to ask if something else was available, they offered a standard room, I asked if a corner was available, then they found one - seemed like a lot of handholding to try to get “best available”
Cons:
- Some of the towels were rather stained and seemed kind of old
- Aforementioned missing chocolate after Housekeeping entered the room - never heard back from the staff and did not receive update after initial complaint - I felt very uncomfortable that belongings would be taken
- No sink-side soap dish
I don’t think I would jump at returning.
