Very strange. From a random coach AA fare I picked in August (if you were to book directly with them MIA-AXA), the conditions state that a child (2-11) and infant with a seat are both charged 100% of the adult fare. I don't understand what "service" they think AA is not going to offer.

Are you trying to make an Avios booking or is this a paid fare?
