I recently flew Mumbai - Delhi - Copenhagen in J.. The first part on the A350 in J to Delhi i have to tip my hat to Air India. The A350 was lovely, the seat experience was great and the entertainment wasnt bad. Its good to see what Air India can actually become when Tata puts their money behind the brand..

Unfortunately for the second leg i had VT-ANU, an extremely beaten up 788. The cabin crew were lovely and did their best but the condition of the J cabin was atrocious. Seats falling apart and half the planes IFE didnt work the whole flight (mine included). I wrote to Air India praising the good and the bad and asked for some sort of compensation for the ticket given that i had paid the highest fared J ticket... Air India returned with an offer of 4000 INR which i thought was a complete insult given the cost of the ticket was over 150k and i had a service which was a 2/10 experience.
