bwia, I have explained to the OP where he was wrong in his initial rant against IST in general, and why he was wrong, and pointed out the many deficiencies of JFK, let alone Chisinau. He has stopped those rantings, and since then we have been trying to advise him as to what may have occurred and what he might do.

LGA was one of the worst airports in America, now it is one of the best. The new terminal at EWR is fine, the other ones are toilet, and JFK varies by terminal, some are ok, some are also toilet. Running the gauntlet of unregistered and unlicensed transport at most terminals is a nightmare at JFK for example and has been for years. Part of the problem is that they are not seemingly the PAPD issue, but instead left to various terminal security people, and that is why it is a nightmare. Maybe once a decade the TLC with the PD does a sweep. But that is not what this thread is about.
