Been to BKK earlier but my first time at this Westin property. My earlier stays were at the Novotels across BKK before i took the Bonvoy pill so that would be my reference as i write this review. First, the location - i felt that i was dropped into the center of the 'ring', not complaining. Very conveniently located between Nana and Asok, right at the footsteps of Asok metro station. Plenty of activity nearby with T21, bars, street shopping etc etc.
The hotel was comfortable. Large std room with a large sized king bed (King Bed City View Guest Room) with plenty of space for 2. As has been mentioned here before, changing elevators at the lobby level to go from ground to your room is a bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast was filling with a lot of options, both hot and cold, which you might expect in Thailand/Asia.
Between Sheraton across the street and this property, i think i have a new regular in BKK now
