I'm there in the coming weeks ahead and confirmed a studio suite for 3 nights which is what they confirm into.
I've always been more than happy in it.
Slightly prefer Manchester but their award and revenue pricing have gone through the roof recently
Like that the La Jolla property offers restaurant over club as their R club was historically poor IMO
On the other hand Manchester club offerings in the club have slipped on last stay just ok

I stayed at the InterContinental last stay Downtown
and preferred it more and its lower price point on award nights over Hyatt its easily less than
Grand Hyatt by 100 dollars a night less
No destination fees @IC on award nights even to non elites
