It's so random - just back from a run where all 4 of my UL segments operated, 3 of which were completely on-time (I know, I was shocked as well.)
A few observations:
1) Transits in Abu Dhabi Terminal A remain exceptionally easy. No BP check, just a quick security check. Both times when I was there, transit security was empty. The UL staff were able to print my boarding passes at the gate without issue.
2) The onboard service/food was very consistent, but the seat quality varied as UL's short haul fleet is a mess right now (At least 4 UL 320/321neos are parked. leading to the FitsAir wetlease, the ex-Royal Brunei A320, older A320s being kept in service)
3) As others have reported, they'll often make sure you can connect in CMB, even if your inbound is late (though this isn't a guarantee!)
4) E-Visa/VOA in Indonesia remains fairly easy, though E-Visa is 100% the way to go if you can do it - the e-gates are a breeze. Both times I went through immigration, though (one e-visa, one VOA), I never waited more than 15-20 min.
Hope this helps!
