They regularly play the capacity card at PHL but in fairness the lounge does get very full before the London flight. I've had good luck getting into the lounge early afternoon before but most of the time departing AA flights are either in b/c or f which leaves the BA lounge in a poor location. If it helps there is the amex lounge right about ba but I found that tended to be as busy as the admirals cluB.
