We are indeed ... however, that's just what has been allowed to happen. You are welcome to advise the airline HR department, the union representatives, and the management budgets team how to resolve it.
There are a number of other "edge cases" where the increase in extra early operations has overrun resources. Check in for the first departures that closes before one can arrive by the first public transport of the day is another.
