You can think of the Elizabeth Line as functionally part of the Tube (even though for official purposes it's its own thing) so you would just show up and ride as you would for any other mass transit trip. Apple Pay or contactless credit cards can be used to pay for the ride by tapping on and off at the fare gates at each end of the journey.
