So that is 11 qualifying flights for PHL vs. 36 qualifying flights for JFK. That explains why JFK is the priority.
Even if you only count AA flights, JFK still significantly bigger. 12 TATL + 12 Transcon + 2 SA... 9 for PHL AA and 26 for JFK AA
So looking at another random date and focusing on AA alone - since this is an AA discussion.
JFK widebody service = 10 cities for 14 flights.
PHL widebody service = 16 cities for 17 flights.
You get pretty different sample pools based on the "random" date you pick. I'd argue that 16 cities for 17 flights is pretty deserving of some upgraded service, no?
