THREE HOURS wait for baggage on a recent trip back from JNB!
Unfortunately I have health issues and need Special Assistance which meant that problems with the Special Assistance collection followed by over two hours sitting in an upright chair in T5 annihilated me and I spent three days in bed afterwards and it took about a week to feel better. Luckily my hubby stood at the carousel to get the luggage so I could sit but my condition means that sitting or standing upright for long periods of time cause severe muscle and joint pain. I submitted a sort of complaint and they gave me 10000 Avios but that didn't really make up for the pain and week of lost work I had to endure.
Irritatingly it was probably the best overnight flight I had ever been on and I was feeling great after a lovely relaxing holiday until the screw up with the baggage!
