My wife and I just completed a quick one night stay here and I thought I'd share a few small things:

Ambassador recognition was strong and we were proactively upgraded ahead of arrival to one of four junior suites on the top floor. Very nice balcony overlooking the lake. I presume this mostly happened due to the fact that things are very slow in Switzerland right now (and they've been getting tremendous rain everywhere).

The AC...works, sort of. We didn't want to open the windows because we saw mosquitos flying around outside, so we cranked the thermostat. It very, very slowly cools the room, but the moment you open the door to leave the room, it shuts off. This makes sense from an environmental perspective, but from a practical perspective, what it means is when you go out for the day, or to dinner, you'll return to a warm room. We turned it on at 8PM and by 11PM it was still quite warm. Neither of us slept well because the temp never dropped below 74F. That's kind of just to be expected in this country (or Europe as a whole for the matter), so it's hard to call it a complaint.

Breakfast was offered as a benefit, but unlike a previous report mentioned, the pancakes/"specialty" menu items were not included for us. It's basically a continental offering with a small station of powdered scrambled eggs and overcooked sausages. Not impressive, but it's free and Switzerland is expensive, so we were happy.

On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel despite not getting a great sleep. The employees are well trained and well intentioned and I was shocked to learn this was previously a Sheraton.
