Flew to Tokyo on 9D & 9G on the 777-200 after reading a lot of positive reviews for couples (the foot wells were pretty large).

I have flown 10D & G before and had a great night sleep and loved the mini cabin so didn't think there would be an issue despite the proximity to galley and lavs. I was in 9D and the lav light bothered me and the flight attendant made sure to slam every plate in that galley for what felt like an hour. I finally said something after tossing and turning and she told me sorry but she had to re-arrange the galley (2 hours after dinner service was over and at least 5 hours before breakfast). Everyone in that mini cabin was awake. Lesson learned I should've kept 7D & G
