Stayed in Nov after keeping away for a period because of the building noise. No disturbance now at all.

A great hotel. You will not do better in HK unless you want glitz and bright lights, in which case go for the Island Shangri-La. The RC is VERY subdued and peaceful. A real oasis from the rat race of Central.

As to Harbour / Peak view, I have always gone for Harbour in the past but last time went for Peak as I could get a fantastic rate. Quite as good as Harbour and probably rather quieter as you are not immediately next to a 6 lane expressway.

Transfer from airport is best by car. The hotel limo is pricey although very pleasant. An air-con taxi will get you there as quickly for half the price (HK$ 350 approx).
