Points and all-inclusive hotels?
Hi all - I’ve been trying to figure this out by reading old threads, blog articles, and even calling the bonvoy line, but I’ve heard many competing answers.
If I book a Marriott property in Costa Rica using points, and that property is all-inclusive, are food and drink included? I’m looking at Mangroove and Punta Islita.
I think my misunderstanding is that some marriotts are strictly all-inclusive (like the planet Hollywood), and others have all-inclusive options. If that’s the case, would I be able to book Mangroove with points, and then purchase an additional all-inclusive package? Has anyone priced that out?
Mangroove is showing me 264k points for 5 nights vs $3,860 a night, which is wild!
Thanks for the help!
