I've been watching a flight bounce around a little. At first upward as seats in F got taken (up to 2 empty), then downward as two seats opened back up (4 total), and today a little lower than yesterday while still at 4 open. If the number gets where I am willing I'll just do it, maybe it'll get more attractive close to departure. UA.com is offering $300 each confirmed or 25k miles waitlist. It is kind of a fun game to check each day and see what happens. I don't know how low they are willing to go before just giving someone a CPU. For for now my exit row is fine, I'll buy snack boxes and drinks with the savings. :-)
