Both me and my wife have our own Plat paying $695 a year each. We have 2 kids and it seems weird that we can't even bring our 2 kids to a lounge with 2 individual $695 cards.
Well that is a completely different argument and applies to any Centurion Lounge. It was a change AMEX made to help with over crowding a while back. You can pay $50 ($30 if your children are 17 or younger) if you do not meet the $75,000 spend threshold.
