She downloaded the app, set up a MileagePlus account, and checked in via the app. The flights appear in Trips, but under Flight Status it says she has no upcoming flights. Also no sign of a boarding pass unless one goes to Trips, then select the Trip, then click View boarding pass options, then wait about 5-10 seconds (at least on her phone/our wifi), then scroll all the way to the bottom and click View boarding pass options. then select each segment to view the pass. That can't be right, can it? I mean one isn't expect to do all that each time one has to show a boarding pass, right? Any tips on how to view the boarding passes more quickly or get them to appear automatically? Is Apple Wallet the only option (hesitant to rely on that because I assume it doesn't auto-update).

I manually added the flights to Flight Status but that didn't change anything with the boarding passes.
