I'm happy to consider your feedback, however, I think there is a bit more nuance to be considered here.
For example, while Plus appears to be marketed and sold as a Premium Economy product, it is not done so everywhere. For example on codeshares, Euro-Plus is sold as Business, as is the case with partner award tickets.
The same applies when looking at certain booking engines, where Plus (depending on booking class) is either classified as Premium Economy (A, B, P, S, Y) or Business Class (J, Z, C, D).
I think SAS is being deliberately vague in this regard and much confusion arises from this.
IRROPS rebookings are also done based on the above booking classes (A, B, P, S, Y) get downgraded to Economy on other carriers (unless you push back), while (J, Z, C, D) get rebooked into Business.
At the same time, while the service and product might be more like a Premium Economy product on board, the boarding pass often ends up depicting "C" or Business Class (especially at some outstations).
The lines are quite blurry depending on the specific aspect.
There is a reason that this question and the ensuing discussion keeps arising once in a while.

It might be common knowledge for some of us, but certainly not everybody. Even SAS' own agents occasionally mix Plus and Business up (on the phone, at some outstations etc.).
I think it's beneficial to have a thread on this topic, which is why I've moved this OT discussion from another thread into its own, attaching my own post at the beginning, aiming to give an introduction and cover the basics of this question.
