Sunday 5 May - update

In addition to BA213 BOS

BA442 AMS

Monday 6 May 2024 - UK wide Bank Holiday

Cancellations = WEAN for all of them
BA954 MUC
BA1418 BHD
BA716 ZRH
BA1448 EDI
BA480 BCN
BA908 FRA
BA974 HAM

This gives 333 departures for BA today out of LHR's 668.

Bit of weather around, departures are getting off more or less on time, but there are departure restrictions on MODMI (easterly take off then right turn to go over Leatherhead) and DET (Straits of Dover). ATC report gives the Regulation numbers in bold, but it's due to CB activity, which should roll away later today.

Landing RWY: 09L
Airborne holding (mins): 6 peak
Departure RWY: 09R
TSAT delay average (mins): 0 but demand is increasing from 1420 so expect average delays to increase at this point to nearer 4-6 mins (more on southbound routes). This will increase further if STAM applied due to weather avoidance experienced.

Heathrow: EGLLTC regulation due CBs 41/60 until 1400, 36/60 1400-1900, 41/60 1900-2100z.
Network: Capacity through Greek airspace. Weather regulations through Germany and Austria.

Weather: Easterlies all day. High risk CBs LTMA until 1700z.
