jbar91. The featured Japanese whisky was just the Hibiki Blender's Choice, a far cry from the Hibiki 17 on my ANA ORD-NRT inbound.
JL serves exquisite whisky on the JFK and LHR routes, which it apparently views as more prestigious than Dallas or Chicago 🤷♂️
Currently it’s a custom single malt from Chichibu’s Ichiro’s Malt for JAL First Class. They also serve an exclusive (and absolutely excellent) Shochu on those two routes. On lesser F routes they serve a step-down offering from the same Shochu maison.
