Does anyone know what happens if I close the FB promo BoA card within a year of application? Will I lose the 70k welcome miles I got for hitting the $3k? There's nothing about it in the promotion terms and conditions.

I got approved for the card in August 2023. My card anniversary is in August 2024 and I will qualify for the 60 XP and 5k miles for the $15k spendings in the first year but I actually don't need these points. I'm FB Gold now and I will get a soft landing to Silver in November 2024. Including the aforementioned 60 XP I will have 99 XP in November 2024, so I will be Silver anyway (with no excess XP for the next FB year). I think I'd rather close the BoA card before the anniversary to save $89 and be able to re-apply for another FB BoA card in a couple of years as a "new" customer, if that's allowed. But again, I'm not sure if it's required to keep that card for at least one full year before cancelling to keep the 70k FB miles.

Any tips?
