Ah yes, they're "ripping people off" because they don't offer the lowest price. I guess I should also avoid getting "ripped off" by my local grocery store for charging 20 cents more than Walmart on their milk and eggs as well. Wouldn't want to let them scam me.

In all seriousness you should always shop around for the best deal with everything you buy. I've only ever used AmexTravel for the hotel credit, Biz Plat 35% MR rebate, and occasionally the IAP.
