Sorry you had so much trouble. The fact they upgrade AMB to suites many days ahead of time is quite valuable to me. Regarding the standard rooms, you did not mention the abysmal soundproofing. That is the single reason why I don't want to stay in those rooms anymore, ever. Why I return to this hotel once in a while is because I know my odds of a suite upgrade are as high as can reasonably be, but if that was to change, I would be done.
