Why would they make that a manual process? First they broke/took away the ability to transfer from my business card (Ink Cash) to my personal card (CSR) and force me to engage an agent every time I want to make a “combination” of points, and now this? (I don’t yet have an Ink Preferred, but was planning to get one to replace my CSR)
Mrs. Zippy and myself both have a different no-annual-fee JPMC card earning UR points and I was able to transfer from her card to mine and to my Ink card, no problem. It has been a while since I did that, and I can't recall specifically, but I think they changed something regarding that process, like maybe I was able to transfer from her no-AF card to my Ink?
Anyway I was also wondering why they would do this. The UR points are a liability, are they not? So wouldn't it be in their interest to make the process for reducing liabilities as smooth and easy as possible?
