I don't follow AA as closely, and not that it's very significant, but for comparison I poked around and found some sporadic F redemption on JL for 80k.
While I fly UA and DL much more, I am paradoxically redeeming more AA miles because I find better value. Just wish they had a network that better supported my travels. I hate to jinx things, but I don't see how AA keeps these redemption better rates given their weaker financial performance.
