Odd situation - looking for input. On a flight tomorrow from CLT to LHR and was waitlisted using an SWU. Saw C availability open up (1 seat) on Expert Flyer, so I called the Exec Plat desk and asked if she could remove me from the waitlist and confirm the upgrade given the C-bucket availability. She says she saw the C space but was unable to confirm me (she tried)... and then said that C-bucket is used for both upgrades and paid tickets (and said they've been asking for this to be separated for a while). I've never heard this before. Is this a HUCA situation or real?
