Any recent experiences to compare what would be the better option? I am booked to OGG later this year on CMH-DFW-OGG with CMH-DFW in F and DFW-OGG in PE (I booked this as a multi-city on a single ticket to be able to get F on CMH-DFW). For about the same price I paid for the CMH-DFW-OGG in F/PE, I can book CMH-PHX-OGG in F with PHX-OGG on the A321NEO. Trying to decide if there's any value to switching to get "F" on an A321NEO over PE on the 787-8.

I'm still leaning towards keeping the 787-8 via DFW in PE because the 787-8 will come with a tv screen and the bulkhead row has far more legroom from what I can tell. Schedules are basically the same. Flights depart out of CMH within 10 minutes of each other and arrive in OGG within 15 minutes of each other so that's all a non-factor. But trying to glean any recent feedback to see if the service in PE on DFW-OGG is so bad compared to what I could expect via domestic F that it's worth considering switching to go via PHX.

(Side note: Yes, I've looked at DFW-OGG in J but so far the price premium over PE is far more than I'm willing to pay for a daytime flight.)
