Would love to see some data because it seems at least anecdotally that CEDR has quite the backlog of cases due to airlines like BA resisting or refusing to pay valid EU 261 claims.
Do BA get penalised in any way for valid claims ending up at CEDR, or is it still in their financial interest to initially refuse all valid claims and then only pay out the ones that people can be bothered to escalate and pursue for many months?
