friday A12 at LHR to Riga. it was delayed but i sauntered to the gate when it was finally announced and stood near the entry to tensas. before any announcement an agent asked for group 1's (to which i asked about 0 and he was like "oh sorry and 0 of course!" but i just happened to be first through because of time/place i happened to be. they filled the tensas before any tannoy which did include 0 first but not sure where i would have gone unless i read this board and would have gone around to the desk entry.

so we are all stood there...then they call bags as the plane was obviously not ready.

shock of shocks--they tagged cabin bags AND SENT THEM BACK TO THE BOARDING AREA (with their tagged bags)! i couldnt believe it! this is exactly what i had been droning on about here and as a result there were only a handlful of families and those needing assistance in the holding pen before we were all sent down.

less horrid than normal and frankly how it should be IMHO.
