Yes, configuration is key. TG has the 350 and I was not impressed because the J seat seat was narrow, and controls were terrible. It reminds me of the worn out Air Canada 330s that I have come to detest .I hope the new aircraft in the 330 series on order will offer an interior upgrade.
The Super Diamond (AC signature class) works well on A350 (BA uses the same). Whatever SQ uses for their A350s is just awful.
