I would imagine the refresh was at Marriott's urging however I also think that the ownership took the opportunity seeing what other properties were doing to "adjust" their offerings, service levels. Hell I miss the flower arrangements in the lobby of the Mona at least they kept the rocking chairs. It's sad one's expectations visiting the islands are not what they use to be, but then what is.
