On my last 2 JetBlue flights the IFE wasn't working at all. I asked the FAs about it and both times they said the systems were very old, JetBlue wasn't even repairing them on the older planes, and there was nothing they could do. I asked about travel bank credit (which I've received in the past) and they both told me JetBlue stopped that practice earlier this year. I'm actually surprised they offered you anything.
