That explanation makes sense. I guess I just feel that if I access the trip details from within the logged in account, as opposed to getting there by entering the PNR and PAX information, when I log out, it should redirect back to the main WN homepage.

Again, not really an issue for me, but it could be for someone if they are careless at a hotel computer, for example.
