Hearing the reports that some places were abandoning guests leads me to believe that all resorts/Masai Mara are affected, even though they may not be technically "flooded out" like the JW. Such a shame for those who had plans there, will be curious to see how quickly things return to some semblance of normalcy.
my trip is in november and i emailed them - this was their response

"hank you for your email,

Unfortunately, it has been communicated that we shall close our doors for extended periods, we request for more time as we indulge our management on concrete dates we shall be reopening our doors.

Let us know in case of further assistance."
my travel advisor reached out to people on the ground and said "Kenya is facing an unusual surge in rainfall, resulting in flooding particularly in low-lying areas. As a consequence, several camps and lodges situated along the Mara and Talek Rivers in the Greater Maasai Mara have been affected. She also noted that there is a particular property that remains completely unaffected and will be regardless of the rain because of its unique positioning, which is Angama Mara, and highly recommended it. One other thing was that to ensure a smooth and enjoyable travel experience, some properties recommend considering a flight to the Mara instead of driving. "

i know not entirely helpful :/
