When did you receive the email canceling your reservation? I have reservations to stay at this hotel next month in June. It says closed on the website but when I called Marriott they seemed confused and said that the hotel is open. Very confused and concerned for my upcoming trip.
Received in mid-April. No reply to my response. Property is not bookable for any night until 2025. If I were you I would book a backup asap. You might also check your reservation list in the app - you may find it canceled there.
This whole thing is terrible communication and very shady.
