Today, I had a chance to complete thorough DD of the subway situation that applies to both the Caption and the Centric Zhongshan Park.

This is a shot of both Hyatts from Dingxi Rd from Yuyuan Rd facing south. As you can see, they are 50-100 meters away.

This is Exit 8 on Yuyuan Rd (picture facing east). Note the unnumbered subway entrance sign about 25 meters further. That gets you into the shopping mall and, importantly, has escalators.

Once you're in the mall on B2, you'll notice this "hotel" sign. I'm guessing this means there will be direct indoor access to one or both Hyatts in the near future. For now, we're only talking about 150 meters of outdoor walking though.

Navigating my way through the mall to the subway station (basically bottom of the exit 8 stairs) wasn't especially challenging.

Once you're inside the station, you need to walk down this ~400 meter hallway in order to reach the west entrance gate.

Here is the west entrance gate. It is right above the Line 2 platform. In the unlikely event you want lines 3 or 4 (which run on the same track), you'll need to walk west an additional ~250 meters.

Here are walking directions from the entrance gate itself to the hotels. I only captured them because I was curious about the distance/time estimates; the walk itself is idiot proof. I should suppose I should also note that the Renaissance is really close to the entrance gate and does have direct indoor access.

Finally, here is the official station map that is on display today.
