I am Gold (MM), my wife is Gold (my MM companion status). We flew together paid Q class BOS-ORD-LAS in March. I bought both tickets, one PNR, sequential ticket numbers. She did not get mileage credit - usually I don't even bother to check, never been an issue, but I was buying a ticket for her just now. I got credit, as usual. When I request mileage credit on the web site, enter all the info, I immediately get a message saying "Denied. The ticket number you entered is not eligible for MileagePlus mileage credit.."
Before I call and get whatever passes for customer service these days, can anyone think of any reason why my companion on my revenue PNR would not get credit, while I did? We fly together often and I've never seen this.
Interestingly, I tried twice. The first time, I entered the ticket number and got a form with lots of fields to fill out, which I did. One of the requested flight numbers was wrong because the schedule had changed (flight number only) after the ticket issued. I wondered about that. When I tried again, with obviously the same ticket number, the same form appeared, but with all fields full (correct flight number this time) and locked except for the seat number field.
