I just checked out the map. It's an interesting (in a good way) location. The Rosewood is right next door (facing the other direction) at about 6x the price.
Note : The Italian restaurant at the Rosewood is just great.
Concerning the Marriott Merlin, the cocktails at the beach bar are good and the staff is really friendly.
We enjoyed the massage in the Spa.
The only negative point is that the hotel buildings look a little dated (we did not stayed, so no clue if the room are dated).
